The first person I spoke to was the owner himself, Mr. Urban Mills. He was extremely kind and accommodating, and rearranged his schedule, to ensure that the wrapping and packing process would be completed in time, to prepare the empty apartment for walk through with the landlord. The entire team was outstanding! They worked very hard into the late night and maintained a very positive attitude. Upon arrival at the destination, they went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter was comfortable and assisted with the unpacking and organizing. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a local mover or out of state mover. read less

They moved me back in May from my apartment to a new apartment. They were a little behind due to traffic after leaving their first move for the day but they let me know that they would be late as soon as they realized. Mr. Mills called me personally and let me know that he was helping the team catch up and that they would be delayed so that I was not aimlessly waiting on them. He even offered to bring us coffee for the inconvenience. The team moved all my items, safely and with care up a full flight of steps, in the heat. I also paid to have some items dumped which they completed with no issues. Because of the great job they did with moving my apartment, I recommended them to my parents to move their home this week. My parents had over 90 boxes as well as large furniture. Mr. Mills and team did again an exceptional job. They were timely, professional and greatly helped relieve stress from my parents as they made their move. I will be using them again for my next move. After my items were dropped outside of the storage facility by Shields Movers to sit overnight this company saved me. They answered the phone promptly on a holiday morning and arrived within a matter of minutes. He was able to complete the move in less time than it took the 3 previous movers. Instead of using a truck, he hauled my items to the back of the property on foot with a dolly. My items were removed from the storage entrance and packed neatly into my storage unit in less than an hour. He even provided me with tips and advice for storing my items. I will definitely be using this company when I move my items from storage into my new home. You are truly a godsend! read less

Their rates are fantastic. Nikki, who helped me arrange the move, was super responsive and helpful and made sure all my accommodations were met. The two guys that came out, Rico and Ron, were incredibly nice, quick and careful with all my furniture. Absolutely no damage to my walls, door frame, furniture, etc. They made quick work of the move, taking care of a one bedroom apartment from start to finish in 3.5 hours. We hired Atlanta Urban Movers to move our items from the storage area to the new home.
I can only say I wish they were the ones that moved us to Atlanta in the first place. It was a big job with a lot of boxes and furniture and they remained respectful and careful with our things. Since we didn't know quite were everything was going they even "staged" our remaining boxes so we could unpack them easily without having to move a ton of stuff first. No move is stress-free, but I think they did their best to get it done right. read less

At one point during the unloading process we were unable to get a box spring through the house and rather than just keep on charging me for the additional time they capped the time and still managed to get the bed in the house. I love that they give discounts to teachers. The price was reasonable. The packing and unpacking of my furniture was great. Because I'm so OCD some of the boxes they stacked wasn't very stable, they had no problem rearranging the boxes for me. Some items that were supposed to have stayed at my old house, was brought to my new home. Now I have to take it back. One of the movers used my bathroom (which isn't a problem) and forgot to flush.

Overall I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. They are worth every penny. read less
